Synopsis

Rose, a pathologist obsessed with reanimating the dead, prefers corpses to human connection. Celie, a maternity nurse, lives for her six-year-old daughter, Lila. After Lila suddenly falls ill and dies, the women's lives collide, sending them down a dark, dangerous path that forces them to confront how far they will go to protect what they love.
